Elevera Advisers

Elevera Advisers (Elevera Advisers AB) is a Swedish registered limited corporation (organisational no. 556160-7481) founded in 2006 by Thorgeir Einarsson. The company is based in Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden.

Elevera Advisers is a professional services practice offering management consulting and strategic advisory services in areas of fund raising and M&A to clients globally.

Elevera Advisers offers services through its own principals, consultants and associates, primarily in the San Francisco Bay Area and London, UK.

CEO & Founder

thorgzBWThe founder of Elevera Advisers, Thorgeir Einarsson, has created and built tech and educational companies in Europe, US, Asia and Africa for the last 30 years.

Thorgeir has been an entrepreneur mainly within the technology industry, started off developing and marketed innovative software solutions in the areas of supply chain & logistics and business process management.

Thorgeir has since developed business solutions and go-to-market strategies for various industries specifically within cybersecurity, mobile apps, e-commerce, financial services, medical simulation and e-learning.

Einarsson co-founded Qiva Inc. (formerly TTSI Ltd) in 1988 – a leading provider of global logistics and transportation software with head quarters in London and San Francisco (acquired by TradeBeam in 2003 and today part of Aptean).

Einarsson also co-founded Categoric Software Corp. in 1997 – the author of the industry first Business Activity Monitoring and Event Alerting Platforms (Xalerts), with head quarters in Palo Alto, CA (acquired by CDC Software in 2009 and today part of Aptean).

Thorgeir has also served as VP of International for Sendmail Inc. (Emeryville, CA), the leading email security and infrastructure provider during 2003-2005.

Thorgeir holds a BSc from University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

Mattias Berntsson – Associate Partner

Mattias Berntsson is Elevera’s associate partner in Sweden and is the founder of AltAvant, an independent advisory firm focusing on consulting on financing and investments within alternative assets, encompassing venture capital, private equity and real assets. With AltAvant, Mattias has advised growth companies within strategy, business development and private placements within healthtech, hrtech, greentech and retail as well as advised private equity fund managers on fundraising and investor relations.

Mattias career spans more than 20 years of experience of investments and financing of companies, projects, real assets and funds in both private and public situations, gained both internationally and in Sweden. He has developed a broad international network in the private equity, venture capital and real asset industry, with close relationships with institutional investors, private equity and venture groups, foundations, family offices, business angels and private investors committed to private capital as an asset class.

Mattias started his career as a trainee at ABB Financial Services, which took him to Zurich, Switzerland where he, as Head of Strategy and Business Development at ABB Equity Ventures, gained experience in corporate venture capital and private equity infrastructure investments. After ABB, Mattias joined Swiss Re Private Equity Partners as a Vice President in Zurich, responsible for investments in European private equity and venture capital funds and institutional investor relationships in the Nordic region.

After 10 years in Zurich, Mattias moved on to a role as Principal at Pantheon in London, a true pioneer private equity asset manager, where he initiated, launched and managed a pioneer private infrastructure investment program for third party institutional clients while at the same time managed relationships with investment managers in the Nordic private equity and venture industry.

After 5 years in London, Mattias moved back to Sweden and took on the position as CIO at AP6, managing investment strategy and asset allocation and chaired the investment committee. Prior to launching AltAvant, Mattias was Head of Investments at Region Västra Götaland, with main focus on investments in healthcare infrastructure, medtech and transport.

Mattias holds a Master of Science in Business Administration, Major in Accounting and Business Finance from Gothenburg School of Economics and Commercial Law, Gothenburg, Sweden

Sean Salehi – Managing Director,  San Francisco Bay Area

Sean Salehi_B&W_SmallSean Salehi is Elevera’s associate partner in the San Francisco Bay Area. Sean is also the founder and Managing Director of SAI, a San Francisco Bay Area privately held company providing strategic guidance, technology innovation and direction, market development, interim management and mergers and acquisitions services for emerging and established technology companies. Since 1982, Mr. Salehi has been developing, marketing and implementing leading technology solutions for various industries specifically retail, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, distribution, ecommerce and financial services.

Mr. Salehi brings over twenty years of global experience in the areas of corporate management, strategic and financial planning, P&L, startup and turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, e-commerce, product management, product development, R&D, management information systems, ASP operations and supply chain.

Salehi has served as Senior Vice President of Global Products for QRS Corporation managing a $65M line of software business, where he was the driving force behind the QRS vision for the retail and CPG supply chain overseeing R&D, product management, ASP operations and information technology infrastructure for the company. Inovis acquired QRS in 2004.

Prior to joining QRS, Salehi was Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Fair Isaac, a software and services company serving the financial services industry based in San Rafael, Calif. His career also includes ten years with Hewlett-Packard, where he advised Fortune 500 companies on information technology strategies, as well as CIO positions at MagneTek Inc., a $2B global manufacturer of electrical and electronics products, and Cypress Semiconductor, a $700M global manufacturer of Semiconductor products.

Salehi holds an MBA from Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from California State University at Northridge.
